Carleton Dispersed: Photos of the Covid-19 pandemic from across the country
This collection has items collected by Carleton students during Spring and Summer 2020 that speak to the Covid-19 pandemic across the US. Most of the student body was off-campus, at home or elsewhere. These photos and documents were collected near where the students were living and reflect living during the pandemic. Most of the contributions were made by students in Historians for Hire.

Pandemic Photography Portfolio

This portfolio was a final project for a Carleton photography class. In it, this student captures her life in quarantine in Lake Tahoe through images and short captions. She examines loneliness, repetition, nature, monotony, emotional fatigue, and her connection to swimming. Overall, this portfolio artistically portrays confusion and despair resulting from the pandemic, ultimately countered by positive reflection and growth.

It is relevant because it shows people's appreciation towards deliver workers who risk themselves daily fo the good of their communities. All photos were taken in and near the artist's house in Prattville, Alabama as a result of the stay-at-home order and later voluntary self-quarantine of Spring 2020. Some images speak to the experience of a social and academic life maintained mostly digitally. Others analyze the lack of clarity, descent into darkness, and subsequent return to hope.
