Description
After six months of not seeing her, my family made the three hour drive to Rapid City, SD to see my dad's mom for her birthday. We met in the park and one of her presents was a homemade coronavirus piñata made by my dad and sister. We hoped getting to destroy a replica of coronavirus would be a humorous way to acknowledge how hard this has been and maybe feel a bit better about all. The first photo is of the piñata; the second photo is of my dad and sister, Micheal and Jayne Lees, next to their creation; the third is a video of my grandmother, Marsha Lees, destroying her present; and the fourth photo is of my grandmother posing over the destroyed piñata.
