About This Journal
Mission Statement
Climate and Society (CAS) is a student-run undergraduate journal focusing on the intersection of climate change and social science. We believe that research regarding this understudied nexus is crucial to informing and enabling effective action on climate change. CAS focuses on this intersection with the goal of connecting students and professors from different colleges and showcasing the work of talented undergraduates. It is published exclusively online and finds its institutional home with the Carleton College Department of Political Science. We aim to publish a small amount of high-quality work twice annually, with the first publication of CAS coming in the winter of 2019.
